Overview
Keep your Ni-Cads charged up with this. 0 - 4 A. (4 - 8 Cell Ni Cad) digital pulse charger.

This is an assembled module. You just need to wire it to your batteries and provide a suitable 12VDC power supply

Power supply : Requires 12-14 VDC / max 4A.

Charge current : approx 0.2-4. (adjustable) usable battery voltages : 7.2V, 8.4V.

For higher battery voltages use a higher input supply.

For example 7.2V or 8.4V packs would require 12 Volts DC in, 9.6 volt pack would require 13 to 14 VDC at whatever the charge current you require is.

Has reverse polarity protection for the battery and input supply. When the battery pack is fully charged the charger switches to trickle charge mode.

Fuse for short circuit protection.

Screw terminal connector for power supply in and battery output.

A small trimmer is used to set the max charge current to not more then 4 amps.

You can then use the larger knob to adjust the actual charge current from .2A to 4 amps.

A pushbutton switch is located on the PCB to start the charge cycle.

Has 2 LEDS, one to indicate power and one to indicate charge status.
