Custom development work is billed at $125 per hour, with a minimum project value of $2,500.00 USD.
Projects typically begin with a clear written description of the desired functionality. A written outline provided by email helps ensure that both parties have a common understanding of the project's goals, requirements, and expected outcomes.
Based on your requirements, we design and build a functional prototype for testing and evaluation. You will have the opportunity to review and test the design before it moves into production. Because both the hardware and firmware are developed in-house, modifications and refinements can be incorporated as the project evolves.
To help maintain accurate project estimates, it is important that the required inputs, outputs, and intended functionality are defined as clearly as possible at the start of the project. Changes to project scope, features, or requirements may affect development time, schedules, and overall cost.
Once a design has been finalized and approved, production may begin with a minimum manufacturing quantity of 25 units. Per-unit pricing is determined after the design is complete and all components have been selected.
Unlike many design firms, we perform prototype assembly and low-volume production in-house. Surface-mount assembly is completed using our automated pick-and-place equipment and reflow soldering process, allowing us to maintain control over quality, scheduling, and manufacturing consistency from prototype through production.
Our services include custom electronics design, PCB layout, embedded firmware development, reverse engineering, obsolete control board replacement, prototype development, testing, and low-volume manufacturing.
Our focus is on reliability, quality, and long-term serviceability. We do not compromise on component quality, workmanship, testing, or engineering practices.
We are best suited for customers seeking a dependable, professionally engineered solution rather than simply the lowest possible initial cost.
If quality, longevity, and correctness matter to you, we would be pleased to discuss your project.
In many cases yes. We can evaluate discontinued or unsupported electronic assemblies and determine whether repair, redesign, or replacement is possible.
Yes. We provide schematic capture, PCB layout, firmware development, prototype assembly, testing, and manufacturing services.
Yes and no. We order our boards from a supplier with the right abilities. The boards arrive in a panel design that has no components mounted. Small batch jobs are not wanted by North American manufacturers, so its always an Asian source. However once the PCB values surpasses $2000.00 US, U.S. board house become an option. Prototype assembly and low-volume production are performed in-house using automated pick-and-place equipment and reflow soldering processes. We are currently a lead free house. If there is a need for Leaded assembly, we may consider adding Lead to our line up.
Custom development projects have a minimum value of $2,500 USD. Does it make sense, only you know.
