Overview
A power amplifier designed for low voltage consumer applications LM386N-4 1 watt version.
- Audio Power Amplifier IC has internal gain which is set to 20 to keep external part count low.
- The additional external resistor and capacitor between pins 1 and 8 increases the gain to any value up to 200.
- Inputs are ground referenced.
- The output is automatically biased to on half the supply voltage.
- 24 milliwatts is the quescent power drain when operating from 6 volt supply making LM386 ideal for battery operation.
