IR LED and IR diode module with comparator

This module uses IR LEDs and an IR diode, so what this means is that sunlight or heat will effect the trigger point.

If the diode sees IR  from the sun or a heat source, it will conduct. Just thought I should mention this, its not well suited to decoding IR transmissions from a IR remote, use a IR Demodulator it requires the the signal have a 38Khz modulation signal.
