This kit was developed to prevent any annoying plop occurring to the speakers when switching the K3503 car booster on and off. ﾠ In addition, it provides protection for the MOSFET transistors and the car battery (monitoring the voltage drop).ﾠ The entire circuit can be built into the car booster housing.ﾠ Soft start of the switched mode power supply Technical specifications

  •  Switch-on delay of the speakers : +/- 2 sec. 
  •  Direct switch-off of the speakers at switch-off of car booster 
  •  Voltage monitor : switch off from +/- 10V. 
  •  Only suited for VELLEMAN K3503 2 x 100W car booster. Hints 

When protection works too early due to voltage drop of the battery, please change ZD1 and ZD2 by 9.1 or 8.2V type.

When the power supply is not stable, change C5 and C6 by 47ﾵF.
