Nozzle: 195–225°C
Bed: 50–60°C — lower than standard PLA
Speed: Up to 100mm/s — Silk PLA requires slower speeds than standard PLA to achieve optimal layer adhesion and the best glossy finish. Pushing above 100mm/s reduces sheen quality.
Fan: Enable after layer 1
Best Uses
Decorative items, vases, sculptures, display models, cosplay props, jewellery and gifts. Not recommended for high-strength functional parts.
Storage
Seal after use — moisture can dull the silk finish.
