We now have live postage rates from Canada Post instead of the flat rate. You will now see the actual cost of postage.
Why is Canada Post so expensive? Chinese goods arrive at our ports (and Worldwide) with no postage paid. It is up to Canada Post to deliver all of this frieght. Canada Post cannot run a deficit so they have to increase domestic postage rates to cover this cost. In the U.S. the taxpayer subsidizes USPS to the tune of $18 Billion dollars as of 2015 ! And they are still losing money because of the lack of postage on mail from China.
Ordering goods with free shipping from ASIA is destroying domestic retail in North America. It is not sustainable under any circumstance and everyone in North America will suffer as a result.
UPS Standard starts around $10.00 for Commerical addresses. UPS adds $4.10 + Tx for residential addresses. They have also implemented a Peak Commerical Surcharge since Covid. Any excuse to add more fees.

If goods are returned, original shipping amount will be added to the re-stocking fee.
