DC to DC step UP converter up to 35VDC

It has come to our attention that if the output voltage is less then the input voltage, failure will follow.

Whats happening is that the output filter cap is of such low ESR that the surge current required to charge the cap is much higher then the diode will allow, looks like its a 3 AMP schottky, so you can adjust the power supply down to the DC input voltage or lower, however upon applying power for the next use the diode will short. The result will be that you cannot adjust the power supply module above the input voltage.

If the output voltage of the module is above the input voltage then you will notice no issues and have no need to upgrade. This is something to take note of as the output voltage of the module cannot be adjusted below the input voltage due to the fact the diode in series with the output will not allow the output to be less then (VIN - 0.430V) . If you need to vary down to 1 volt or so then use this module to step up and another regulator to step down.

Keep the above warning n mind.

This module allows you to step up a lower voltage, high current source. DC to DC power supply module, step up a voltage say from 3 volts DC to 12 or 15 volts DC or higher. Fully assembled with a multi turn trim pot for adjustment.
