This kit was designed in Belgium and they use Celcius for temperature display but for North America they made a Fahrenheit version, to complicate things they also use the line switching frequency to obtain a stable clock or timebase for time keeping. The K6002 has a clock in it, not used for anything other then to tell the time. They used 60 Hz for our power line frequency in the Fahrenheit version. If you want Celcius we can provide you with European version but the time will not be accurate. In order to fix that you will have to substitue the signal normally provided by the line switching, which could be accomplished easily using a PIC or similar micro or a divided down crytal reference. If there are enough requests before the end of life of this kit we could always ask Stephan to make a Celcius version with the proper timebase but I think there will be a new one before he has time to make the changes.
