QKits Electronic Kits: K4100, Pre- Amplifier kit

A control or pre-amplifier is an indispensable device for controlling a power amplifier, such as e.g. our K4040 tube amplifier or K4020 /K4010 MOSFET amplifiers. OR our Digital FM Tuner K4500. When developing this pre-amplifier we opted for DIGITAL control of all functions, so that it contains no potentiometers at all! All functions, such as volume, tone control, balance and input selection can be operated using push buttons and a LED display gives a clear indication of all settings. All functions may be operated with a remote control unit (K4101 available as an option). A switched mains output has also been provided, which allows the rest of the installed equipment to be switched on and off using the remote control unit. On top of all this, your own priority settings can be programmed in, which becomes the default setting when the unit is switched on, and can be invoked at any time.
