You can call each extension with the press of a button, just like in a hotel or office! Moreover, the password protected administrator functions will allow you to give different privelleges to each extension.

You can block one or all extensions from calling certain area codes, or any outside number at all. You can also disable the ringer of each extension to the incoming calls from the outside. To protect your privacy, if you are in a call with someone on the outside line, you will be notified if someone else on your network picks up their phone; as only one call can happen at a time. But if you wish, you can transfer an outside call from your extension to any of the other three at the push of a button. You simply hang up, and the extension you chose will ring. When they pick up, the call is resumed! You can also choose to put callers on hold, and a melody is played while they wait.

If the module is unplugged from the AC, though, it will loose all of its settings, unless you attach a rechargable 3.6 volt nicad to the provided terminals.
