The ultrasonic sensor operates on 12 volts DC. It uses the 40khz frequency range, and detects movement within 1 foot to 15 feet. You can adjust the 40khz frequency, as well as the detection range within their parameters. There is also a relay output to connect to other equipment: NC, COM and NO.
