If you're like most people, you've been faced with a dead motorcycle battery on more than one occasion. Not only does it typically spoil your fun for the day, it also can be expensive since many times you need to replace the battery. The CycleSAVER will constantly replenish your motorcycle's battery by sending a maintenance-level charge to the battery of your bike, snowmobile, PWC, or ATV.

Please note: All solar panels are rated at 1000 Watts per square meter.
The average light intensity in North America is 600 Watts per square meter.

Q1: Will the CycleSAVER keep my vehicle battery charged?

A: The CycleSAVER trickle charger will eliminate dead batteries caused by natural voltage losses. The CycleSAVER compensates for those constant losses by replenishing your battery at a maximum rate of 125mAmps per hour in full sunlight.

Q2: Can the CycleSAVER drain my battery at night?

A: No. All ICP Solar panels are equipped with a built-in diode, which prevents any reverse current.

Q3: Can I overcharge my battery with the CycleSAVER?

A: The CycleSAVER will not overcharge a vehicle battery.

Q4: Can the CycleSAVER be left outdoors?

A: Yes, but it should be treated with silicon as the CycleSAVER was designed to sit on the dashboard inside your vehicle, and has not been weatherproofed. To weatherproof the CycleSAVER, apply a clear silicon sealant around the glass and plastic edges as well as on the connector on the back of the panel (where the wire goes into the panel). Outdoor use without weatherproofing will void the warranty.

Q5: Can the wiring be extended?

A: You can extend the wiring of our solar chargers another 25 feet (for a Maximum of 35 feet) using 16-gauge wire, without any significant loss of power.

Q6: Can I trickle charge more than one battery at a time with the CycleSAVER?

A: The CycleSAVER may be able to trickle charge more than one battery, such as batteries for; snowmobiles, motorcycles, or ATV's etc. However it is not designed to maintain more than one automobile battery at a time. Your voltage input will be split between the number of batteries.
