In 1998, after years of engineering, the Air Industrial hit the markets. It has since been used, usually in conjunction with solar panels, to power remote signal stations, emergency lighting on ships, and even to keep up the batteries in extreme conditions such as Arctic expeditions!

The Air Industrial line differs from the Air X simply by its durability. The Industrial line was designed for serious demand in harsh conditions, and to be maintainence free, aside from emergencies when you may need to change the blades. You can buy replacements and it only takes a few minutes and two hex wrenches.

The Air Industrial is made from powder coated aircraft quality aluminum, and features upgraded circuitry, as well as a brushless curve alternator. It also features a finned aluminum heat sink to keep it cool in high wind high friction situations.

The blades are carbon fibre reinforced, and can twist and bend as the wind begins to push on them with excess force. This reduces the RPM, and reduces excess heat.

The brushless alternator has been reinforced with extra thick wire, to allow for excess amperage in extreme conditions.

The Air Industrial also comes with an external charge controller, that can divert excess energy away from your batteries and into heating a room.
