The Air X line features new technology previously found only in mega-watt class turbines. The Air X's microprocessor turbine control creates three unique features: improved battery charging, less noise and flutter (be a better neighbour), greater reliability, and increased performance.

The Air X circuitry will electronically slow the blades in extrenuously high winds, lowering the flutter and stress on the blades, and also dropping the voltage to the tolerated maximum potential. When the wind slows back down, it releases.

Previous models have only been safe when charging battery banks that have 300 to 400 amp hours, but the new technology will constantly monitor and periodically stop the trickle when the battery nears a full charge. When it discovers that the bank is charged, it will cut off the voltage to the battery all-together, so there is no fear of over cooking, and the Air X will come to almost a complete stop! This system is designed for operation with 25 to 25, 000 amp hour banks.

To prevent over stressing the electronics, and the blades and bearings of the mechanical parts, the Air X will electronically slow down once it passes 600 rpm, to maintain without passing the maximum potential. This also greatly reduces the flutter noise associated with wind turbines.

The Air X Marine is constructed with marine grade stainless steel, and is painted with marine paint, for longer life, keeping sun and water damage away.

While the turbine is not meant to be immersed, the electronics are completely sealed away, and Tef-gel is used to prevent corrosion between dissimilar metals.
